Several of my animal rights articles have been published in on-line websites such as all-creatures.org, Cyrano’s Journal, Dandelion Salad, Radical Noesis, Soul-Café, Thomas Paine’s Corner (now defunct), The Vegetarian Site, and others. My articles have also been published in print magazines like New Dawn Magazine and the Animals Voice. I was also interviewed in Vegan Views, although this publication subsequently stopped publishing its magazine in hard copy print format.
I have been interviewed for several radio shows including the Monique Chapman Show; Dara…on Radio: Arts, Entertainment, and the Business of it All; and Moments of Light with Tom Evans. With Evans, I raised the topic of how participation in societal sanctioned cruelty, such as eating meat products produced on factory farms must surely affect the world's consciousness.
I was also interviewed for the podcast VegCast by Vance Lehmkuhl. He has interviewed many people in the animal rights movement includinjg Neal Barnard, Gene Baur, Karen Davis, Priscilla Feral, Gary Francione, Kathy Freston, Paul Shapiro, and Mickey Z.
Besides my writings, I have made two youtube videos (with background music by me). One of these, is a video of a presentation I gave at The Green Earth health food store in Oneonta, New York, titled “Who Are We and Where Are We Going?” Here I discuss some of the topics contained in The Protein Myth. The video has been picked up for viewing by quite a few websites such as cristianomusica.com, kidneystonesdiet.com, and lookfordiagnosis.com. The second video is about the horrendous cruelty on fur farms and is based on an undercover video investigation conducted by Matt Rossell. It is titled “America, Humane or Inhumane, Our Choice.” Quite a few websites like frequency.com, musikadisco.com, and veengle.com have also picked up this video for viewing on their sites.
I strongly oppose hunting and trapping and have written three feature articles on the subject for the Oneonta Daily Star (Oneonta, New York). I have also written two small books about hunting and trapping. The first is a romantic fairy tale, The Princess and the Maple Syrup Collector: An Old Fashioned Animal Rights Tale, and the second is a challenge to Christians who believe in hunting titled Is It Christian to Hunt. Links to both these books are provided on this site. I hope to finish another book on hunting and trapping either later this year or early next year.
I am also fairly far along on an animal rights novel to be called In the Shadow of the Innocents.
